Privacy, cookies and terms
We process little data, for a single purpose, and store it for as short a time as possible. Here is what we collect and why.
What we collect
The reservation form asks only for what holding a table requires: a name, an email address, an optional telephone number, the occasion, the number of guests, a preferred date, and any notes on allergies or which room you would rather sit in.
We ask for no payment details, because nothing is paid for on this page. We build no profiles and buy no address lists from third parties.
What we use it for
We use what you send to answer the request and, if the evening goes ahead, to run the service — which mostly means the kitchen knowing about an allergy before you arrive.
We send no marketing. Answering your request is the only use your details are put to.
How long we keep it
Requests that do not become reservations are deleted after thirty days. Confirmed reservations remain in the dining-room book for the current business year and are then removed. Notes on allergies are stored only until the evening they relate to.
Cookies
This page sets one cookie of its own: a record of the choice you made in the cookie notice, so that the notice does not reappear on every page you open.
Anonymous statistics are only switched on if you accept them in that notice. Declining takes away no functionality. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Your rights
You may at any time request information about your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, and object to the processing. Send the request through the reservation form and we answer within thirty days.
Reservation terms
A request sent from this page is a request, not a reservation. The table is held once we have written back to you and you have confirmed it.
For dinners please give notice at least forty-eight hours beforehand if you cannot come, and seventy-two hours for the card salon or an exclusive booking. With forty-six seats, every table that frees up at the last minute stays empty all evening.
Entry to the card salon is reserved to adults and is only possible by prior arrangement. It is played with symbolic tokens carrying no economic value: no money is staked, no winnings are paid, and no gambling or betting activity of any kind is carried on.
